The Aliso Frosh Soph Boys Soccer team won the NOC Invite on Monday, defeating Santa Ana High, 2-0 in the semifinals and then El Dorado High, 2-1, in the championship.  Steven Ghobrial and Yousef Afifi scored the goals in the first game of the day with Afifi adding another goal in the championship with Braedan Collins providing the game winner.  Goalkeeper Giovanni Voccola made a penalty kick save after a miscue in the Aliso penalty box to secure the win.

The Varsity squad recorded a 2-1 win in their first game of the day on goals from Zach Daniels and Kevin Lim.  Daniels collected a ball inside the penalty area and shot with his left foot into the back of the net.  After La Mirada equalized the game on a penalty kick.  Lim took a pass from Talan Chauncey for a tap in goal with 17 minutes remaining in the game.

The Varsity Championship Game saw an old foe in Valencia and 80 minutes wasn't enough to decide the contest.  Valencia scored in the last minute of the first half, but Josh Fisher scored after a Ryan Mann corner kick to tie the contest in the second half.  Valencia ended up winning on penalty kicks.

The JV squad played a consolation game today as well, winning 3-1 over Santiago High.  Phellipe Akili, Max Chung and Brandon Fraser were the goal scorers for Aliso.
