The Aliso JV boys soccer team won the Marina Tournament for the second consecutive time, defeating Los Alamitos in penalty kicks, 3-1 this afternoon.  It was the third victory of the day for Aliso, which started the day with a penalty kick victory over Milikan in quarterfinal action.  The Wolverines moved on to defeat Santa Ana High School in the semifinals, 3-2.  Goalkeeper Ethan Joseph had a tremendous day in the net, stopping two penalty shots in the quarterfinals and making three more saves in penalty kicks in the championship game.  Chase Seager, Tyler Queen and Phelippe Akii were all successful in their penalty kick attempts.

The Frosh-Soph team reached the championship game of the Marina Tournament after a penalty kick victory over Millikan earlier in the day.  Goalkeeper Giovanni Voccola made two saves in penalty kicks to clinch the win.  The championship game was a different story as Millikan won, 4-1.  Steven Ghobrial was the lone goal scorer for the Wolverines as they took a 1-0 into halftime.  A pair of set pieces saw goals at the end of them for Millikan and the Wolverines were unable to counter.
